Before joining any Institute, what is the very 1st thing that you look for?? Think…
I guess, its result, the number of selections that the institute produces year after year.
You would probably look at the various institute’s website in your city and check out their results. Isn’t it? But friends, what if an institute cheats you over its results!? What if more than 50% of their results are fake!? Confused??
Let me make it clearer. A brief background of myself, I have just completed my engineering from 1 of the IITs and am looking for a coaching class for my friend’s sister in Pune. I, like most of you, visited website of various institutes in Pune, and what I found, was extremely demeaning and shameful an act by one of the institutes, “Prime Academy”.
The ranks claimed by the institute Prime Academy were clearly meant to deceive students and parents and thus get admissions done somehow. Now, first let me show you the screen shot of IITJEE 2011 result given on Prime academy(pune) website-
Now cutting it short let me stress on the facts point wise:
1. Most of the ranks claimed by them are category ranks and nowhere on their website, there is any sign or symbol or any slightest of indication that the ranks do not belong to general category. Look at the table below and you shall understand.

I read their advertisement in a leading newspaper that they have had 11 selections in top 1000. If you have seen the table above properly, you would have understood that 4 out of their top 5 ranks and 5 out of top 11 ranks are not the general category ranks in top 1000 and 2 students out of the top 5 have not even qualified in the general category, forget ranks in top 1000.
<Recent update: Interestingly these people are cheating their Alma Mater (IIT Bombay) as well. I recently found out that the 3 teachers of Prime Academy Lalit Kumar (Owner), Rahul Waware and Pradeep Nagar had qualified JEE in reserved category and are telling their fake ranks to students. So now this does not come as a surprise to me>
2. If after reading point 1, you feel that’s not much, let me share something with you, which will SHOCK you completely. I personally got extremely shocked and UPSET when I realized, what I shall be sharing with you. So read the next part at your own peril because like me you also may get very very sad. Look at the roll numbers of the students in the table above. Around 50% of them have roll numbers which do not begin with 1. You must be wondering, what that means. Only students who have Roll numbers starting with 1 are from Bombay zone. Bombay zone includes students who belong to any of the following states: Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Goa.
Roll numbers starting with 2 belong to Delhi zone.
Roll numbers starting with 5 belong to Kharagpur zone.
Roll numbers starting with 6 belong to Madras zone.
23 selections out of all the ones that they have shown have not written exam from any place in Bombay zone forget Pune. Prime Academy has no Test Series. So, how do they explain this? Or is it that the students of Prime have went to Chennai to write their JEE exam? Not just 1, approximately 50% of them!!
3. If that’s not enough, I have more for you. Do you think the roll numbers that are starting with 1 are their genuine result? Don’t you think someone who is unethical in 1 thing and has killed his conscience can do anything unethical? Can such people be ever trusted? Well here is something that may make you wonder, if they have even 1 single genuine result.
Four of their students (I wonder if I should use the word ‘their’) Roll numbers: 1066295, 1063139, 1064204, 1065074 are most likely not from pune again. Their result has also been shown by Yukti Baroda. The result can be checked on yukti baroda’s website.
I hope all readers will understand that just because I have been able to find only 1 institute in Bombay zone with which they have common result does not mean there are not others. I have got better things to do, than to find fake results of such unethical organizations. But, when I discovered that 1 of their result was fake, I could not resist finding about the rest. And what I have found has left me ashamed. I feel ashamed to be a part of the humanity of which such cheaters are a part.
This Fraud is not only in the results of JEE 2011 but also in JEE 2010 and JEE 2009 results. But if I get down explaining all that, it shall take hours. I am not aware of the law and don’t know whether this calls for a punishment. But as a social responsibility, I have written this note. Now it’s your turn, spread the word, so that institute’s like these are not able to fool students any further.

Thanks to the application http://iitjeeresults.appspot.com/ created by IIT- Kanpur student by which 1 can not only get the results by just JEE registration number, but also by the name and rank. All the above claims are verifiable. Just visit the above application and write the student’s name or rank.
